Every Monday I plan on diagramming a haircut from the archives. Our first installment is a basic one length, an integral part of most long haircuts.
It’s achieved with a repetitive horizontal sectioning pattern. The sides are over directed over the shoulders and the line is cut against the back with 0° degrees of elevation. With the head down, work from the bottom up and from the center back out to each side. It can be cut in the comb for a harder edge or held in the fingers for a bit of softness (as seen in the photo).
